Lakeland Chamber 5th Annual Suit-Up

The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce has partnered with local universities to host the 5th Annual Suit-Up event to facilitate the networking of students nearing graduation and local employers seeking quality talent.

This event is a collaborative initiative of the following: Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, Florida Polytechnic University, Florida Southern College, Keiser University, Polk State College, Saint Leo University Lakeland Education Center, Southeastern University, & Webster University.

Students will have the opportunity to:

• Find out about local career opportunities
• Network with area employment recruiters
• Get FREE professional LinkedIn headshots
• Advice from professionals about how to dress for success
• Receive résumé assistance and participate in mock interviews, courtesy of Mid-Florida Society for Human Resource Management

Employers will have the opportunity to:

• Provide information about your company
• Raise awareness about future employment needs
• Talk about ways students can prepare for a career in their desired field
• Identify potential interns and new recruits
